the excitement of the Watkins Glen International, visiting the
Corning Museum of Glass, Rockwell Museum of Western Art, or simply
vacationing.
THE INVERARY COTTAGE
Experience the Finger Lakes in a unique, charmed filled 1884 period
cottage - The Inverary is right from a page of history. The two-story
structure on quite East Bluff Drive, sits upon a gently slopping
hillside, overlooking a level beach and private dock.
A 102-foot beach front gives you plenty of room to cool yourself
in the crystal clear water of Keuka Lake, or roast marshmallows over
an evening campfire. The recently renovated kitchen and full bathroom
with tub & shower combine rustic charm with modern conveniences.
The beauty of the lake and vineyards can be taken in from the full
length screened porch while resting in rocking chairs, our glider
or comfy futon. Dining is a relaxing event – there is plenty
of seating in the large dining area with breathtaking views of Keuka
Lake. Spend evenings in “your favorite chair” by the
crackling fire of the floor to ceiling fieldstone fireplace. It boasts
of five bedrooms, comfortably accommodating eight guests: a convenient
first floor bedroom- four additional bedrooms on the second. Upstairs
has a large vaulted ceiling (bedrooms have no ceilings, and are open
to the rafters). Read a book, play cards or a board game – we
are well-stocked, and provide cable for those TV watchers. There
is plenty of nostalgic décor to complete the uniqueness of
The Inverary.
